Daybreak readiness
Daybreak Red / Readiness

Advanced cyber AI.
Bounded human oversight.

A public statement of the use cases and safeguards AMYNA proposes for a future organizational application to OpenAI Daybreak Red. This is an application-readiness statement, not evidence of access or approval.

Status: preparing an organization-level access request.

AMYNA is not claiming approval, model entitlement, certification, partnership, or endorsement by OpenAI. Any future access would be separately reviewed, provisioned and subject to OpenAI policies and applicable controls.

Intended purpose

Help defenders validate what matters.

AMYNA seeks to evaluate advanced model-assisted workflows for lawful penetration testing, controlled exploit validation, malware reverse engineering, and forensic investigation. The goal is stronger validation, clearer analysis, and actionable defensive outcomes within written authorization.

The proposed user group is limited to approved AMYNA personnel operating within an internal-only OpenAI organization, workspace, or API project as required by OpenAI—not customer accounts or external users.

RED / 01

Authorized penetration testing & red teaming

Support test planning, attack-path reasoning and limited proof-of-concept validation in assets owned or explicitly authorized for testing.

  • Inputs: written rules of engagement, approved test artifacts, controlled test data
  • Gate: human approval of high-impact steps
  • Outputs: reproducible evidence and risk-based fixes
RESEARCH / 02

Malware analysis & reverse engineering

Assist analysis of legally obtained samples and suspicious artifacts in suitably isolated environments to clarify behavior and generate defensive leads.

  • Inputs: authorized samples and sanitized lab observations
  • Gate: isolation, access control, no deployment
  • Outputs: behavioral assessment, indicators, detection hypotheses
DFIR / 03

Forensics, incident response & detection

Help reconstruct incidents from appropriately obtained evidence and evaluate detection or remediation hypotheses.

  • Inputs: engagement-approved, minimized case artifacts
  • Gate: provenance, confidentiality, reviewer sign-off
  • Outputs: timelines, triage notes, response recommendations
Planned access governance

Safeguards to establish before activation.

The following is a proposed control plan for internal governance and OpenAI review. It does not assert that an audit has been completed or that access has been provisioned.

Control domainProposed boundary / implementation requirementReviewable evidence to prepare
Legal authorizationRestrict testing to owned systems or targets with documented permission; define assets, dates, techniques, exclusions, and emergency contacts.Rules-of-engagement template; sample authorization letter with confidential details redacted.
Identity & accessLimit model access to named, approved internal analysts and applicable organization/workspace or API project; apply least privilege and strong account security.Role assignment and access review process; approved workspace ownership details.
Segregated operationKeep authorized Daybreak use separate from customer-facing apps, downstream traffic, resale, sharing, or proxy access.Internal-only architecture and data-flow diagram.
Human oversightUse explicit review points for higher-risk research, exploit-chain validation, and decisions affecting live environments; retain stop authority.Approval checkpoints, escalation playbook and exception log design.
Data handlingMinimize, classify and redact case content as needed; confirm data-processing arrangements and any separate retention approvals before uploading sensitive information.Data handling standards, client authorizations and retention matrix.
Audit & escalationMaintain appropriate records of scope, tool use, review decisions, findings and incident escalation, subject to privacy and provider terms.Engagement log schema, reviewer assignment and incident reporting route.
Daybreak does not expand a client's authorization.

It does not remove all safeguards, guarantee specialized models, or automatically provide Zero Data Retention. Tool use, access restrictions, and sensitive-data handling remain subject to the actual approval and applicable terms.

Access boundary

Internal use only.
No downstream access.

If approved, AMYNA would use Daybreak only for permitted internal work by approved practitioners. This website does not expose or proxy Daybreak to visitors, clients or third parties.

No external representation of approval

AMYNA is not a declared OpenAI Daybreak partner, reseller, or approved Red user. The intended workflows remain conditional on organizational review, activation, and any additional model-specific approval required by OpenAI.

Application preparation

An evidence-led request.

Organizational applications may require supporting identity and trust information. AMYNA can use the following checklist to prepare verifiable material rather than website-only claims.
